Southeast Michigan, Metro Detroit, Michigan
C.A.S.A., LLC is a Michigan non-profit organization founded in 1992 in the metro-Detroit area by a 27-year old man who had struggled with addictive-compulsive shoplifting and employee theft from age 15 - 25 but found recovery and wanted to find a way to help others who had problems with stealing as well as to help himself maintain a "theft-free" life. C.A.S.A. has had 12-Step face-to-face support group meetings in metro-Detroit and in a growing number of cities and states as across the United States. Prior to and since the Covid pandemic, C.A.S.A. also has had a free phone (and some Zoom), support groups, as well. All correspondences (phone, email, letter) respect anonymity and confidentiality. Our website has more information (including books, video clips, therapy referrals, and ways to donate to our cause).
